This appeal is struck out, pursuant to Rule 8(3)(c) of the Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (General Regulatory Chamber) Rules 2009 (‘the Rules’) as having no reasonable prospects of success, since the Appellant, on 23 September 2025, failed their maximum permitted third attempt at passing the Part 3 test to become a qualified Approved Driving Instructor. 2. Regulation 14(b) of the Motor Cars (Driving Instruction) Regulations 2005 provides that a trainee licence remains in force until the day immediately following a trainee’s third unsuccessful attempt to pass the said Part 3 test. 3. On 24 September 2025, the Respondent made application to have this appeal struck out in the said circumstances. This application was copied, on the same day, to the Appellant. No representations were made in response by the Appellant. 4. I grant the Respondent’s application in all the circumstances without further direction.
